Message from the President

In 2010, Hitachi will celebrate its centennial anniversary. This is the beginning of another 100 years.
Since its establishment, under Hitachi´s founding spirit, "harmony", "sincerity" and "pioneering spirit", Hitachi has contributed to society wholeheartedly, and thus we have earned such trust from our customers.
In order to address the fundamental issues confronting the global society, and to continue to deliver new value with our customers, it is necessary for Hitachi to have a global perspective as well as the strong leadership to unite various levels of knowledge and technologies.
At the age of "the truly collective strength ", Hitachi is at the moment of truth. Now is the time for us to return to our roots, our founding spirit, and more strongly united as a single Hitachi to address new issues.
By combining everyone´s effort and strengths together, Hitachi will firmly move forward step by step. Thus, Hitachi will actualize "Inspire the Next", and keep evolving toward the future.
